On Wednesday, we went to London. We went on the London Eye first and the weather was perfect. We saw lots of famous buildings and learned the names of some we hadn’t seen before. After the London Eye, we went to the National Gallery and then had some free time in Covent Garden. Finally, we went to Pizza Express for dinner.

Trip to Cambridge!

Standard

Yesterday, we went on a trip to Cambridge. We had lots of fun punting down the river on a beautiful sunny day. The students asked their punters lots of questions. Afterwards we ate our lunch on Jesus Green before going shopping. The students were very excited to go shopping in Cambridge. Our final activity in Cambridge was going to the Computer Museum where the students played video games. They could try all the old computer games like Street Fighter, Spiro and Space Invaders.

Visit to Cambridge

Today we visited the ‘Centre for Computing History’ in Cambridge. The children could play with computers from the past 50 years, and our Course Director Zoe found her first Amstrad computer!

Afterwards, we went to see the centre of Cambridge, and we went punting on the River Cam. Unfortunately, it began to rain, but this only helped to make it a typical English experience!
