MH in 2013: House shenanigans

Here at CAE Moreton Hall, we have four houses. You might recognise them:

Ravenclaw, Hufflepuff, Slytherin and Gryffindor!

As well as beavering away making house crests as part of our evening activities schedule, the students went on a search around the school grounds the other day to find something which could represent their house.

See if you can match the students with their house based on the items they chose!

Student Perspective

Last Thursday we went to the disco of Cambridge Academy of English, all people danced and sang all or some songs, because the songs are very popular and very good. If you want you can see now some photos for the disco because the photos are very interesting and good. All people want to see you see the photos. They are very interesting!

Student Perspective: London excursion

Last Wednesday, we, the student of CAE Moreton Hall Preparatory School, went to London. It was fantastic. At 10 a.m. We were very nervous to go there. So we toke the bus, with it was waiting in the door. On the bus, we enjoy ourselves. We sang, played, talked about interesting things of the different countries… When we arrived there, we eat some rolls, chips, cereals…
After this, we went to a tourist boat, it was good because we learned a lot of things but the weather was… very hot!!!!
Then we visited “The national art gallery”. I like it because Rebecca explained the pictures very good, so that isn’t boring.
Then, we go shopping in a market, it was fantastic. It was about 1:30h. I bought a cap, a T-shirt…
After, we went to a restaurant, Pizza Hut, we ate a very good pizza. This day, was especial for one boy, Itai, it was his birthday.
Then we come back to Moreton Hall very very tired and we had dinner and then we went to the bed.

Cambridge Trail

MH1 had a whale of a time in sunny Cambridge.

First up was lunch on Parkers Piece, a huge grassy area outside of the city centre. There were lots of people soaking up the beautiful weather.

Next, we all headed into town to complete a Cambridge photo trail. You can see our results below.

After that, we enjoyed a leisurely punt along the river Cam. Some of us learned some facts about the different Cambridge colleges on the way.

CAE rounded off our day in Cambridge with a look around the Grand Arcade Shopping Centre.

We’re looking forward to the next Cambridge trip already!
